Why do pet shop boys have to fund their Own albums videos and projects. Surly emi should fund these? I was just wondering that's all

That's the way it usually works. Artists pay their own recording costs. A label will some times pay for all or some of the promotional costs, but this was more common in the good old days when there was more money to be made in the music business.
