They were pretty good. The Happy/Sad mix is obviously the best but all are fair.

Is that happy sad remix also in a higher tempo like the other mixes or is it original tempo?

thanx

Finally got access to a computer which let me play the happy/sad version off Vimeo and what can I say but the obligatory **AMAZING** apart that it's rubbish that it's not available physically. Part two should be the album version, even though I'm in the minority it seems liking the original. I just think that's a different style - some songs clever with words, some hardly any; they've done styles ranging from drum and bass, country and western, Ballard, classical, ballet, disco stomper - it's just another one they've added to their range.

Digital download only, so no Winner mixes for me then. :grumble: I never play mp3-files on my system, but CD or vinyl only, and I never buy quality reduced formats. It's just a step in the wrong direction. MP3 was invented to save space on HD-Drives and to reduce download time I guess, but today drives are cheap and internet speeds are very fast. Why not sell music as WAW-files in full quality? Or maybe do 1 full Winner CD-single, with both the singles tracks and the remixes, and just raise the price?

The remixes are availible at the danish TDC-Play site for 19 kroner, which is cheap. But it's in 320kBit quality only, and I'm not buying this c...! :wall:

Sadly digital only :-(

- Andrew Dawson HappySad = BRILLIANT (orginal bpm)
- Andrew Dawson HappyHour = nothing special (fast bpm)
- John Dahlback = rather crap (fast bpm)
- Niki and The Dove = ADDICTIVE, can't stop dancing to it. Fantastic groove. (fast bpm)
- Wideboys = nothing special (fast bpm) .......... is this official, by the way? It's on YouTube, but can't find it for sale anywhere?

juno are selling the WAV digital files of Winner Remixed for £5.99 (obviously it would be better to have them on a physical CD) whilst these WAV files are perhaps on the pricey side they should be CD quality.

The Wideboys mixes are only for Club promotion.

I find all the remixes better than the original version. That's a first in PSB's catalogue.

The HappySad mix would have been perfect if it weren't for the vocals, which are precisely what I don't like about Winner.

I really only like the HappySad remix, and that one only because of the intro (which reminds me of Latika's Theme from the Slumdog Millionaire..).
