Oscar winner director's animated movie ('Unbeatables' in UK)

The next project of the 2010 'Best Foreign Language Film' Oscar winner director Juan Jose Campanella (for 'The Secret In Their Eyes') will be, unexpectedly, a 3D animated movie.
Why am I mentioning this here? Well, because I was part of the animation team of this movie for the last two and a half years (and I`m still there, for a few more months to come...) and a lot of the shots of the movie were animated by myself (if everything concludes as I´m expecting, around 8 minutes of the movie will be my work...). So, what can be of a liiiitle interest here if some day any of you have the chance to see the movie, is that many shots of it were animated with Pet Shop Boys music playing in the headphones of one of the animators, and many times provided the inspiration and mood to have the work done :D

The estimated premiere will be around June 2013 (at least here in Argentina, Spain and South America) but there are plans for a global distribution and many european and asian countries already have plans to have it in their theatres. The name of the film is 'Metegol' (or 'Foosball' in english) and if you feel curious, here there are the first teasers (no trailers yet..):

1st teaser in english...

1st teaser in original lenguage (spanish)...

2nd teaser

Hope you like them! :)

Oznerol, how wonderful- happy for you! :) Love that PSB was an inspiration in your animation work, I can really imagine that.

Thanks a lot guys for your words! Just now I'm at work doing some shots for the final sequence of the movie (an intimate dialog between the two main characters) and a lot of this shots were animated with all the 'Leaving' stuff (mixes and b-sides) playing in my headphones day by day :D .
Believe me that this two teasers are almost nothing compared with the full movie...there are so much more than a foosball table and some football games!!!...I hope that forthcoming teasers will give a closer idea about the real dimension of the whole thing.
This is the first poster:

Hi again...there are some news about this movie I´m involved, for those who may be interested!
The production is just finished, and the world premiere will be very soon!!! on July 18th on the Argetinean theatres! The expectation is almost killing us...
Here, the new and definitive 'trailer', a short clip of the main song by the Puertorican band 'Calle 13', and a small backstage of the score recording sessions with the London Philarmonic Orchestra! (sadly all the videos are in Spanish...but I think it´s a nice watch anyway ;) )

Thanks a lot! Yes it will (I hope) ! Many people are predicting it as the biggest 'blockbuster' of this year...but the things are no easy because Monsters University broke all the records the past two weeks here in Argentina! If we can do it even better, we'll be in the history books :P !. We´ll know the truth in a couple of weeks!!
Anyway the movie is already sold to more than 50 countries, so is the most important movie of our local history (commercially speaking at least!)

Finally 'Metegol' (with its English translation as 'Foosball') will be premiered tomorrow in the UK!!! It´ll be during the "London Film Festival", tomorrow, October 19!! The voice of the main human character was dubbed by Rupert Grint.

According to the director (Juan Jose Campanella) confident words, the English translation is even better than the original...hmmm...something that we (the animators) still need to hear to approve ;), but well, it´s an important opinion! (completely different with the 'European Spanish' translation -different to the original Latin American/Argentinean Spanish-, premiered few weeks ago in San Sebastián, that it seems that ruined the movie and will be changed in many parts for the final Spanish premiere in December...)
Anyway it has a very good review on Variety:

It seems that it´s already sold-out, but if by any chance anybody here have the chance to see it tomorrow, please do!!!! And then let me know your impressions... ;)

Here the imdb page of the movie:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1634003/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Cheers!!!
