Lady Gaga’s suggested that her new album ‘ARTPOP’ may well be split into two ‘volumes’.

Posting some info about the album on her Little Monsters thing (as quoted here), she said: “It’s a bit more modern. You never know if radio is ready. I can’t decide how to tracklist it yet.”

“Sort of thinking that vol. 1 should have all the commercial songs and save the experimental material for vol. 2,” she explained, which sounds half promising.

As for the app thing, it’s all coming along rather nicely, thanks for asking.

“I’m flying back to Chicago to work on it,” she said. “The developers on ARTPOP are all like 22 and genius kids. You’d be surprised how many genius little monsters there are.”

I bet she's even going to release them separately, and each volume with all its special versions. Man I do like her a lot but this is really bitchy. And she was even on Wetten Dass a couple of years before The Fame Monster was going to come out telling she insisted that her label release Monster on its own so that her fans wouldn't have to pay for the album they already had.
Ok, so who ever actually saw Monster released on its own? I know it exists somewhere, but I've never seen it in the flesh.

I saw Monster on it's own at Target a number of times. I think the single release was exclusive to big-box stores and large online retailers.

Why would you think that is a novelty? If that's what she calls them, that's what she calls them, why should she change it? It's a bit like saying Pet Shop Boys as a name is a novelty.

No it's not. Pet Shop Boys is the name of a popular synth duo.

It is somewhat surprising that they didn't turn into "PSB" around 1996, a la OMD.

Actually, I never saw both albums together

Nah, she's still not as interesting as Robyn, who along with a million others was making better, kooky, fun pop yonks before. Gaga was fun for three minutes. Now she's boring.

Be ready to have other garbage sold as the most interesting and well done music in the world, puah!
