I think it is so funny how all press and tv is solving if one day in Uk is going to sitt on throne female or male.It is going to happen in more than 20 years anyway.It is the same like if people were solving if their friend s friend granddaughter is going to date one day girl or boy.
It is boring:Whole royal family is very fake and funny actually.I can even imagine how Katy asking old queen where is her baby,and old queen said
"it is OUR property,don t you remember your marriage contract?oh wait /old queen answeering her mobile phone...."oh,that is little problem then, who? oh well we simply have to wait 9 more months/then dialing William "Darling Will,you have to come here ASAP to make your wife pregnant again,oh nothing much darlin, only our servant mistaken baby with paper or what,I knew there is going to be some trouble with huseband of that silly nurse...he accrued heir to the throne at the gate instead that bloody paper with name - and so people are still waitting.Now this is going to be very difficult to talk to he press,what do you think darling Will?

Because they eliminated male primogeniture recently, and if it were a girl, she'd be the first female born heiress to the throne in British history.

I think they're all secretly relieved it was a boy. Don't know why. For two centuries, their kings have been erratic, hedonistic, neurotic, not bright, tend not to live long. Elizabeth I*, Victoria, and Elizabeth II have been Britain's most esteemed, long-lived, and influential monarchs.

*I realize Elizabeth I doesn't fit my 200 year timeframe there. Just pointing out that Britain's seemed to do quite all right with their queens, as opposed to their kings.

I agree with you and raggatwin, I don't give a crap to be honest. I don't like her, never have and never will. Of course I like Prince William because I am a huge admirer of Princess Diana, I don't agree with this woman he chose to marry. Oh well, lets see how long it lasts.

Here in Portugal, the birth of Kate's son was a big deal. People here are really into this kind of royalty glamour. Personally, I don't care much about it.
But my mom bought the magazine with the pictures...

Portugal is on it's arse, your ruling elites need a distraction, bit like ours....

It's only interesting if it earns us a day off work. Otherwise, i'd sooner pull my teeth out.
