The above will be released next month. It includes 'I'm Not Scared' in three versions - Disco mix, Little Louie Vega mix and 10" remix.

Just shows that there is still hope for further Further Listenings. In fact I would love to see a big PSB box set for certain individual albums, similar to the Pinl Floyd Immersion sets or the deluxe Goodbye Yellow Brick Road released recently.

Is the Louie vega mix a new mix or one from 1988?

It is, it's essentially the full length 7" mix with a bit more added. Nice though.

It's the one from 1988, but the one never available on CD - the 7min mix

I think it will be a nice addition to the collection.

It's a PWL remix by Ian Curnow, Phil Harding and the PSB. According to the sleeve notes of Phil Harding - Club Mixes of the 80s.

Yep the ten inch mix is faster and the bassline is more prominent, it was mixed by Harding and Curnow.

I wonder who might buy this CD though...

Yes, I've understood your words, and your question is even mine.
But, like many reissues of these years, maybe there is a lot of 'old' fans (who were young in the '80s) that still love buying CDs of 'old' bands.
Surely record companies don't press CDs for losing their money.

Whats the current markup on a CD, from production to retail?

They were popular in Japan and Italy, innit? Market must be very limited however as andemaste says the record company wouldn't press it if they are going to make a loss.

Cherry Red specialises in releasing obscure retro music so they must have worked out a reasonable business model where they can make money even if not selling huge numbers. They were the company that released the Eighth Wonder album a couple of years back so that must have sold reasonably well by their standards for them to consider releasing an even obscurer collection.

I love Cherry Red. They have released so much retro stuff that appeals to me that other record companies wouldn't even consider.

I think its not too expensive release CD for big conpany, its just common outcom. Anyway stone stores need some physical releases for wider spectrum of customers. We people in about 40 got money not student age ones...
