It was sadly inevitable that fundamentalist Islam would one day have to be confronted. When you have an ideology that sees fit to behead babies, all the Guardian columns in the world embracing multiculturalism prove redundant.

And we are seeing protests all around the country in support of these evil Hamas terrorists, most of which are far from peaceful, including the one below in a Tesco store in Birmingham. Where are the protests against ISIS I ask? A group that is murdering hundreds and thousands of people??? Scares me that we have people in Britain that clearly have a religious and racist agenda which totally ignores terrorists. Something has to be done to act on this, and now. multiculturalism cannot work if we let immigrants preach hate and religious intolerance in Britain which is what we are doing because of FEAR, like always.

If it makes you feel uncomfortable then feel free to leave through that door and then please close it when you leave.
It really annoys me that topics such as these which are incredibly important are treated with such contempt. If you don't want to read then don't! Simple.

Sainsburys strips Kosher food shelves as they fear anti Israel protest attacks.
The fear and violence is well and truly here. And it is absolutely disgraceful. I wonder what this country will be like in 20 years because it is being well and truly driven apart by some of the vile people we have here. And it will only get worse. It disgusts me to think they live in the same country as me and claim to be British and to share the same values, it really does because they absolutely do not. And if that is racist my name is John Barnes. Being British means something to me, even if it doesn't to others, and to some it clearly does not.

Any fool can see that, more often than not, a new thread is deliberately being created on the closing of an old one.
I think we're going to have a re-think on the posting of divisive political / religious threads on the forum, as by their very nature they lead to trouble and upset every time.

Upset? Don't you mean fear? Like what you are giving a example of here Steve. If you think I'm wrong then tell me but these issues we talk about are very real and the only people that could possibly be upset by them are the kind of people that shouldn't be on the forum anyway. If not then I'd love to know why.

So you don't think that people who doesn't approve of political threads, that tend to end up in arguments and personal insults should be on a forum about a pop band?

Please tell me why and how then. It's a simple question I am asking. Too simple to just say "You're wrong!". I fanything you are showing me to be right. Is it fear stopping you telling me why I'm wrong?

The people that don't approve of political threads should therefore have the common sense to not read them and get involved in them obviously! If there was a topic I didn't approve of in the forum do I then have a right to get it closed down? Of course not! That would be crazy wouldn't it? I would simply ignore it and let people whom do have an interest in it to comment as they have a right to. Or am I wrong there? Isn't that what being part of a free society is about? Please feel free to correct me if you want.
And if anybody on this forum openly supported Murder, terrorism, racism, etc then I would say that yes, they should be banned from the forum, or is it now a human right to openly support terror and fear? You know, I don't believe it is, but in this day and age in Britain which is full of fear, these things seem more and more acceptable as long as they are not held by white British people that are not part of certain religions of course. Due to fear as always. Or am I wrong again? And don't worry, I know that most people on here believe that the best way to deal with most of the things I am talking about is to ignore them and pretend it they don't exist. The very reason things are getting like they are. And that is without doubt. Sorry if I "offended" somebody again, but I have no doubt that anybody I could possibly offend has offended me much much more with their beliefs, and that is without doubt so I make no apology whatsoever. Thank you.

Fundamentalist Islam isn't a culture, it's the complete antithesis, hence Isis suceeding in destroying relatively harmonious inter-cultural relations that have existed in Iraq for 2,000 years. Fundamentalist ANYTHING is bad news. Fundamentalist Christianity has been guilty of plenty of horrors.
Multiculturalism has nothing to do with it as far as I'm concerned. Religion f*** the whole world up and the more extreme it is, the worse it f*** it up.

Yes, Fundamentalist Christianity HAS been guilty of plenty of horrors, just like most Religions have of course. The word HAS is the important thing here though and at the moment we are seeing Terror and Horror on our very streets and all over the world from Islamic fundamentalists which is why this is an important topic. And make no doubt about it that it is.
Something I like about Britain is that we are not dominated by the church anymore (which is a great thing of course) but I see people of other Religions arriving here and still having their lives dominated by their Religion which I have no problem in saying that I do not like and do not agree with at all in Britain in this day and age. It does not lead to good integration at all and I don't want Religion to have the power and influence it does in Britain (as history will tell Religion always it leads to extremism and I don't see that ever stopping) and leads to separatism and hate which is exactly what we are seeing now in Britain with the Gaza situation showing many people up for what their beliefs really are about. Make no doubt about it, I respect any person to have whatever belief they want but I am not and never will be Religious and will not hesitate to tell them that. If they respect my belief then I respect theirs, plain and simple. Non religious people have no reason to hate and judge people for any reason which is how it should be for all. I support humanity, not a false God or prophet.
Religion has no place in the modern world and we have seen that the influence of Islam has lead to terrorism in Britain and British Muslims leaving to join ISIS which must be stopped and condemned by all but it is not of course because of fear and fear controls us all which is exactly what they want.....

Sorry, but I'm too scared to point out that this is a PSB music forum and therefore to suggest that the "the only people that could possibly be upset by them are the kind of people that shouldn't be on the forum anyway" is a little...well..., insane???
