Just wondered if anyone had bought the Korg M1 app for the iPad. At £23 for the app plus in-app purchases it's a little steep.
I use GarageBand at the moment but want some new sounds.

No, I prefer to make music on desktop computer. Logic and hardware.

I used to use a Korg MicroKorg and a couple of old drum machines but I sold them.
For me the iPad is an easier and quicker way to make music.
I've just listened to some of your Soundcloud stuff, nice work.

I tried to use Ipad in music, but I think it;s better for other things.

I use the official Korg m1 and m20 emulators on the Nintendo 3ds. Awesome programs. Ipad version is only better because it has midi

I have the Korg ims 20 and Korg iPolysix for iPad but found both a little tricky to use.
I'm hoping with the M1 being a workstation it will be a little easier to get on with.
For someone that loves synths I'm a technophobe....

You should try the Nintendo 3ds or Nintendo ds ones. They are easy to navigate and use with the thin stylus, and if you already own other real synths and know what you are doing, they sound great. The latest M1 version has file midi export... Try searching on YouTube Nintendo + Korg. There's some good fun to find there, there used to be a very active community, which I used to be part of, when the first ones launched for the old nds.

Cheers, I'll look into that with the 3DS, really wish I'd kept my MicroKorg now though.

Cheers, I'll look into that with the 3DS, really wish I'd kept my MicroKorg now though.

And I should have bought a microkorg instead of an akai miniak.THAT is one tricky synth...
