Utterly shocking. Went to his after show party in Dublin in the early Noughties. He came in and stood next to me at my table. He nodded at me but I was way too starstruck to speak.
An amazing performer. A massive talent. RIP

What is going on in 2016..??? Bowie, George Martin and now Prince among others.. Dare I say I loved his early stuff.. One of those 'names' that you just thought would be around forever.. I love 'Sign O the Times' and 'Alphabet Street'. Crazy times...

Unbelievably sad news - Victoria Wood yesterday and Prince today. 2016 has taken some real gems from us. When doves cry is a cracking tune.

Great musician. Prolific creator of music. He was arguably the best pop singer of history. We've all lost his incredible voice and talent.

Very shocked when I heard the news earlier today. It's like...f***...first Bowie and now Prince? Mind you, I'm not dismissing other big name music artists (Glenn Frey, George Martin, etc), but these two were up there on the "God" tier of music. Bizarrely, Vanity died age 57 back in February.

Yes, very sad and unexpecting news. Even though I haven't listened to Prince that much I really like many of his hits, like the ones you mention, but also "When doves cry", "1999", "Sign o' the times", "Seven" and "I would die for you" are some of my favourite Prince tracks.

R.I.P. Prince!

Click to see the NASA nebula image.

Sorry for the message below, but it's important I say this:

This is NOT a damn ad for my FB page just click to see image. No need to "Like" or "Comment". I'm really serious just save the image and view.

I'm saying this because the last time I did something like this some members thought I was hunting for FB friends/likes or whatever. I hate, hate, hate, that kind of thing. If I had an easy way to post the image I knew of to this forum, I'd do it. In fact if anyone can, please post the image and NASA message and I'll immediately delete this post. And if I don't do it within a few hours, message me.
