i just got her new CD "folklore" yesterday and its really good

Yup, I'm a fan. I've been listening to 'Powerless' loads recently - very catchy. She has a certain uniqueness about her music, and a very distinctive voice.

She's from my city (Victoria)... and even my high school... Mount Douglas Sr. Sec. if anyone's interested

(I graduated 20 years+ after she did, so no, I don't know her)

That would be 20 years+ before she did, wouldn't it. Some wishful thinking perhaps ?

"Powerless" is a fantastic song and her album is pretty cool too!

I never really liked her last stuff (eg I'm like a bird) but her current stuff is great...

I hope it helps with album sales

I really like one trick pony too

such a nice CD - a good follow up too

usually sophomore CDs aren't so good

She is surprisingly quite good for her field and would appear to be improving.
