Help with Japanese.....

I'm trying to get some form of Japanese writing on to a document on Word 2000, but everytime I copy it from the net it translates it to symbols on my piece of work. Does anyone know how to get Japanese text on to a document, either by changing the language setting or copying it from the net. Thanks..............

Katakana
Hirigana

Worked in Office2003 though full installation.
Does it require a language pack or so? Just wack in the setup disk and make sure everything is running from your computer.

dunno but one of my ex teacher's firstname was Kenji... if that helps...
