This is intended more as a commentary on the folks here who seem to think every new thread should go thru a committee review before being allowed on the forum. Who cares if “there’s a thread for that”, I say.


Also, it’s funny the guy didn’t know Club 69 was dead.

It wasn't funny when I heard what I thought was the "news" of this. To you maybe but not to me. I have a very busy complicated life and have had my own stresses and strains including people close to me passing away. I should have taken more time, then I wouldn't have created the thread.

Hang on hang on. You’ll be telling me next that Dusty has passed away……

I like this kind of satire.
I did see the Peter Rauhofer thread and chose to hold back. I instead reported the thread to the moderators but it looks like they haven't done anything about it. This was shortly after it was posted.
I was kind and reported it as a duplicate since it's been discussed before.

Obviously this forum is oriented on sharing and discussing the latest Pet Shop Boys related news. A 10 year old story isn't news.
It's not like the thread had a new twist or perspective either. I wouldn't mind a retrospective if it's written well, but the thread reads as if no one knew.

By the way I realise I'm both praising and criticising things from Luke Colorado, but I stand by the individual opinions.

Using someone's death to bully on someone's mistake, for which he already apologised, is really disgusting.

Lately this forum is going into very low lows. A forum it may still be but certainly not the "community" stated in the banner. Talk about decay.

I always assumed this forum was filled with GenXers and a few young boomers. Clearly with all the whining and sensitivity it’s a bunch of GenZ snowflakes. Jeepers people. Get a life.

Each year there are more and more pointless and senseless comments across this board. There are certain people who overuse "enter" key. Honestly, I wouldn't care about that as long as there was some order. This is why my biggest disappointment regards admin and moderators work. They were always totally minimalistic in their actions. Most discussions involving some kind of argument here are generally harmless, but they last forever. To write this I don't mean this particular topic is worse or better than some older threads. This is just my general observation and I've been here for a while.

Forum staff exist to ensure the forum rules are executed consistently and fairly... you can't blame them for the quality of whatever content people choose to post, so long as it's done within the rules of the forum.

In all fairness, it has been a couple of slow years in terms of PSB news since the pandemic kicked off. In-between the rare bits of actual worthwhile news, it doesn't matter what people talk about... and the minute there is any actual news, it quickly drowns out whatever it is people do when they fail to enjoy the silence.
