No more vinyl singles..?

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the lack of any vinyl single releases thus far. One thing about the Kobalt era was the abundance of stuff released on (mainly)12"
Electric era - Axis 10", Vocal 12", Bourgeois 12", Thursday 12", Fluorescent RSD 12"
Super era - The Pop kids 12", Inner sanctum 12", Say it to me 12", Undertow 12"
Hotspot - Agenda 12", Dreamland 12", Burning the heather 7", Monkey business 12", I don't wanna 12".
That's an impressive number with 20S the only single lacking a vinyl release.
Now that they're back with Parly are vinyl singles now consigned to the bin or will we get just one single on vinyl a la Leaving with Elysium and Did you see me coming? with Yes or will vinyl versions of Loneliness and DS be released later as with the three main Electric singles?

You may as well ask the cat. I emailed Coors once asking why they had discontinued my favourite beer. Still waiting...

I think it's not because of Parlophone but because of the queues on the plants manufacturing vinyl. It's a trend of last 4-5 years. Remember that Purple Zone CD was released in May but 12-inch - in November.
I think a bunch of vinyl singles have already commissioned and will be released at the end of year.

My thoughts exactly, which makes you wonder how far in advance they've plotted the whole campaign.

Axis was released on a 12", not a 10" afaik.

OMD are #1 in the UK vinyl singles chart with Kleptocracy, so there's clearly a market for it.

I think it’s a shame - love a good 12” single.
I’m amazed there are no remixes of loneliness, I reckon someone could make a proper banger out of it.

A box set of 4x12" vinyl remix singles by Xmas....ooh, I like the sound of that...

I'm sure they will announce 12" singles from the new album after many of the CDs get sold.

Look what Depeche Mode did: They released their album "Memento Mori" in March 2023, followed by five (!) white label 12"es with remixes months later. They were released in November and December 2023, January, February and May 2024.

I’m not that fussed about the lack of vinyls. The CD singles have been great for this era so far.

True but they sure were lacking in terms of cover art!
