Coincidentally on an album that also featured a cover version of 'Always On My Mind'.

That's one crappy, boring song. But I guess the lyrics have some connotations for some but it's still quite generic and as I said.. sooooooo boooooooring.

The dark end of the street was co-written by Dann Penn who also co-wrote ''I'm you puppet'' which arguably inspired Neil's spoken lines in Rent.
