Pet Shop Boys are happy to announce a special PSB-themed tea set, which will be released on 20th November and is available to pre-order now.

The products are the first to be launched as part of a new "Pet Shop Boys since 1984" range to commemorate 40 years since the release of the duo’s debut single – the original version of “West End girls”.

Their long-term collaborators @farrowlondon with Tennant and Lowe have designed the quintessentially British bespoke fine bone china tea set, which was manufactured by @duchesschina1888 in Stoke-on-Trent. The limited-edition collection features a teapot, cups and saucers, milk jug and sugar bowl – all in classic royal blue and white, and packaged in a bespoke box in a variety of sets with prices starting at £200.

More "Pet Shop Boys since 1984" products will follow in due course.

Well that's made me choke on my tea.

This is probably the first thing by PSB I will never own. I actually wouldn't buy it if it was a tenth of the price. Not one of their better ideas. Let's hope the rest of this 'specially themed' merchandise includes something worth while. How about buying the rights to the original recordings off Booby O and putting them out? Now, that would be worth it
