The end of the world?

Why are there so many unusual events occurring for Pet Shop Boys?
Feels like this might be the last push before they retire?
So many singles off one album?
Special editions galore?
A tea set?
No future plans?
Artist in residence - maybe something Neil always wanted to do?
Blackpool gig - maybe something Chris always wanted to do?
Appearing randomly at an MTV awards? Announcement to be made?

Considering 82 year old Sir Paul is out touring on the big stages, I'd say PSB is a long way from retirement.

I thought this was going to be a post relating to Trump winning the Presidency!

They've had an incredibly busy year what with the new album, all the associated promotion and the continuation of the Dreamworld tour. I wouldn't worry about the no future plans thing, they always say that as we head from a peak into a trough. I should imagine they're enjoying some well-earned downtime.

The question of retirement is old.
They seems to have a lot of plans indeed. And if they don't it doesn't matter i think Neil said they are not planning things in advance too much.
The trump election is not the end the world but it's just sad.

So f*** sick of this narrative.
Every time PSB release new material or do a tour, someone says 'oh is this their last thing? they're retiring after this?'
Shut the f*** up.
Maybe they should have ended after Very?
If you don't want to follow PSB anymore, you don't have to.
Let the rest of us enjoy it.
They've obviously got plenty of life and milage ahead of them and I frankly find it insulting to suggest otherwise.

Sad because he's going to end the Russia/Ukraine war? Sad he's going to bring peace to the world??

Sorry I shouldn't have made my original post.
Please keep this on the topic that the originator meant it for, which was a PSB specific one !

No need to apologise - I thought the same thing.

Nonsense. It was deliberately titled such to create a reaction.
