"Confessions on a Dance Floor" (part 2) for Madonna. In fact, it's a sequel. By the way, Parlophone is part of Warner Music.
"Price’s role on the new album makes it likely that Madonna intends to recreate, or at least revisit, the production approach that defined the 2005 record".

It's not strange to think PSB could be part of it in some way.

There's no need to go back to Stuart Price.
James Ford did a fantastic job, so I'd prefer Ford to produce the new PSB album.
I didn't like the muddy, over-compressed, flat sound of the mp3s, and some songs written under Price could have sounded much richer and more interesting, like "Dictator Decides."

So it's easy to see a connection between all of them knowing Stuart is a massive fan of PSB. Warner Bros and Parlophone could see a good deal on it too. Now PSB are not particulary busy, so there is an option.

It would be great, and fitting, if they took a whole new direction. Someone fresh like Tibasko, Bicep, Kolsch or Prospa, Reece or Spencer Brown or DJ Fresh. Someone who takes them to the next stage for 2026.

Veering OT - Bicep all day long. Even just a remix from them would be great.
Back on topic - I think the Madonna/PSB ship has sailed. I think both parties will have scratched that itch with the Sorry remix (nearly 20 years ago!). Unless.. it's made them both think what could be if they did a proper collab. They're obviously fans of each other and respect each others work. Didn't Madonna recognise the PSB references when Stuart was playing her the instrumental tracks for COAD? I think she was quoted as shouting "f*** Pet Shop Boys!" (in a good way) when he played the intro to Jump?
If it is going to happen then now's the time.

Neil gave her a Brit Award and she recognized PSB like a influation for her in front of the audience. Both together were interviewed by Radio 2 later.
It's well know Neil interviewed her for Smash Hits and "Heart" was planned to be sang by her. Maybe they want to try again.

Not a Madonna fan and after 3 albums for me the story with Price is over (above all after the weak Super), not interested in this project for sure

Hopefully they'll never go down Price's road again after Electric, worst PSB album ever, and that poor excuse of a concept album called Hotspot (Remember Hotspot? Yeah, it was a Pet shop boys album you probably listened to a couple times. Blow the dust on it and give it a try again) and Super (That one was actually pretty good).
On the other hand, I think Confessions is the best Madge album in her entire career.

After the grandiose beauty that was Electric, Super was very disappointing for me. Sure, time has passed and now I like some tracks (Sad Robot World, anyone?) but tracks like Undertow were...childish, something you would expect from the horrible Modern Talking, Bad Boys Blue etc. The only track I dearly love is Twenty Something (which everyone dearly hates). That's the reason why I was never interested in Hotspot until I fell in love with Will o' The Wisp.
So if it is not another Electric, a "no no" from me.

Agree with that, in fact I prefer "Super" to "Electric" is a much better album.
