Here in the Uk, Boom Shake The Room kept Go West off the top spot.

I have always hated that song because it also blocked "Go West" from going to number one in the UK. Now there is another reason.

This song is the right amount of banger and bonkers and the music always lifts me up. Not sure how many other acts could have got away with doing this (and I know there's plenty of you who think they didn't!).

I never understood the hate. PSB fans can be so humourless sometimes. It's good fun for a good cause!

Sure but not everyone remembers that when Go West was the new entry at number 2 at number one that week was Mister Vain by Culture Beat (who were knocked off the top spot by DJ Jazzy Jeff the following week)

Love the Ab Fab song, for me it's just an official PSB single. Never got the hatred for this track. But charity singles often get dissed. Never got the hate for Jagger and Bowie's version of Dancing in the street either, it's a fun track too.

I remember thinking when this was released at the height of eurodisco's and Psb's newfound commercial popularity - there were so many better songs that never saw the light of the day. Great original melodies deserving to be in the spotlight when the iron was hot, to give Psb the credit they deserved as songwriters. No wonder some old fool was mixing them up with Take That at the time.
