Relentless was never the album that it could've been. Neil has talked about the missed opportunity of an expanded Relentless. My take is that that album could've had the following tracklist:
1-6 Relentless (as it was released)
7 Some Speculation
8 Let The Music Play
9 Euroboy
10 Absolutely Fabulous.

The questien then is which tracks, apart from Ab-fab, would've been the singles, released in 1994 and perhaps 1995?
There are alternative versions of Forever In Love (1992 version) and One Thing Leads To Another (linear lyrics). Perhaps a 7'' mix of the latter could've been a single (with a cool video to boost its performance)?

The Man Who Has Everything has lead single written all over it.

Wasn't One Thing Leads to Another planned to be a single for the USA and the lyrics were re-written in the chronological order of time as we know it? It could be a good jump-start.

Of the tracks that we know existed, I could really only see “Some speculation” being added to Relentless as the rest you mention really don’t fit and in my opinion the quality of “Euroboy” isn’t high enough to go on. Adding “Some speculation” would have brought it up to 42 minutes or so; album length - especially for a stop-gap release. It’s possible there were some other things they had close enough to being ready that could have been added for an eighth track though.

In terms of potential singles “One thing leads to another” is really the only plausible choice (unless they decided to release the original b-side version of “Forever”) and if you listen close an edit can be heard on the track so I think they prepared a 7” version at the same time they mixed the album in anticipation of a possible single release.

Well Neil have mentioned Relentless being fleshed out with both Euroboy and Some Spec and it would've been a shame to leave out Ab-Fab (a hit single) from it.

If they would have finished Only love it could maybe have fitted on an expanded version of Relentless.

Ab-Fab would have stuck out like a great big sticky out thing if put in relentless. Being on the further listening Very is fine.
