Smash. Is it uncensored nowadays?

Everyone remembers the mistake made in Smash blu ray. Being boring being censored. Some of you, not me, might have received that replacing BR with the uncensored version.
But I wonder, are new copies now sold with the uncensored version, if you buy them through the mayor providers?
Like, if I buy Smash from Fnac, or Amazon. Would I get the uncensored rerelease? Or is it any chance I'm getting the censored one?
Thanks!

I think they did issue replacement discs.
Personally I can't watch most of the Blu-ray because of the horrendous AI upscaling.

I posed this question to the OS and received the following response:
Unfortunately, we do not have information available beyond the description posted at our online store.
So, until all extant copies are exhausted, and there is a new, future pressing with an updated master, I would say all current editions of SMASH contain the censored Being boring video.

Interesting that the Smash CD/BD set popped up again here, as I am experiencing issues with it. The 3CD/2BD set was (still is) on sale at Rarewaves, so I finally purchased it a few weeks ago (I already own the LP set), took some time to get delivered, but in the end it arrived last week. Interesting to see the rare videos on BD2, which I watched first. However, BD1 does not play properly. The menu starts up fine and the videos up to DJ Culture play fine, but from that onwards the picture freezes, the individual videos cannot be accessed via the menu (or using the 'next' button on the remote). The disc's surface also has the cloudy shine that I know from other (older) bluray discs that do not play anymore, as well as a serrated edge on the outer ring (especially European discs manufactures between 2006-2011 have these issues, there are a lot of threads on this, e.g. no single bluray copy of Kylie X does still play). So I was very surprised to see that on such a recent disc. [it's difficult to photograph because of the reflection though] It's not a problem of the player (Sony 4K UHD X800).
Does anyone else here have this problem? Assuming not everybody watches these discs all the time, it may be worth to check.
Obviously getting the replacement disc for BB is no longer possible (would have solved my issue as well), and to answer TS's question, I am not sure whether my version is the uncensored BB, as I do not know the difference. I assume it is the original batch.
I contacted Rarewaves, but since it is a multi disc set, I don't think they are able to replace just this one disc. Let's wait and see what they offer. Should a replacement not happen, is there anyone here who got the replacement disc at the time, but kept the original BD and wants to part with it (obviously will pay for P&P)? That would be great.
PS: If someone tells me how I can tell the difference between the censored and uncensored BB video, I can check, because that one plays fine I think. But I think there was only one batch of Smash CD/BD released, as most sellers list it as 'no longer available', so it's probably OOP.

Hey Oakey, thanks so much for answering. In the censored video, all the overlay text in the beginning ("I came from Newcastle...") is written over a black screen, in the uncensored one, while the text is being written, you see a beautiful naked guy jumping up and down by a pool with a dog.

I checked, and interestingly my newly purchased Smash CD/DB set contains the
uncensored version of Being Boring:
Also tried to watch this bluray in a linear way (rather than accessing the individual videos through the menu), but from Jealousy onwards, picture freezes occur, as well as hiccups during playing and the disc eventually stops playing altogether. If people here would want to check their (uncensored/replacement) copies, I am curious to hear whether others also experience issues.

I've watched my replacement disc several times and never noticed any glitches. To verify, I've just pressed play and will reply with the results.
What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
(along with some cold beer!)

The replacement Blu-ray played from start to finish without any errors. Also I was able to select a video from the menu.
I think you just got a bad disc.
Post back your results with Rarewaves.

Thanks for checking. Rarewaves replied that they asked "the manufacturer" for a replacement being sent to me. Let's wait and see....

I received a new set a few weeks later from Rarewaves with bluray 1 playing flawlessly. So it was a manufacturing error.

How on earth do you know the guy is beautiful when you never see him from the neck up?

You see his face plenty. Perhaps your memory is playing tricks on you because something else caught your attention.
