This Must Be The Click Track I Waited Years To Notice

My favourite PSB song is 'This Must Be The Place I Waited Years To Leave'. I've loved the album and 2 x extended mixes since they came out.
But one thing I only noticed for the first time very recently, is a slight different in the drum patterns between the versions. Warning: once you've heard this, you won't be able to un-hear it...
Listen carefully to both extended mixes from 0:43 when the beat kicks in, and on the left hand side, you'll hear a rim shot ticking across a repeating two bar pattern, clicking on beats 3, 5 and 7 of the 8 beat loop. I think it's there for pretty much the entirety of the rest of both extended mixes.
Makes me wonder if this was all - or part of - the click track the orchestra played along to when recording their parts, and maybe Julian Mendelsohn forgot to mute it when making the extended version(s) - or perhaps deliberately included it?
Anyone else ever spotted this difference before?
