'Nobody Told Me' vs 'What Are We Going to Do About the Rich'

I was watching the second episode of 'Pluribus' and when the end credits played, I thought that sounds familiar. It was "Nobody Told Me" by Murat Evgin, a Turikish version of the John Lennon song.
I first thought it as a cover of '...rich' form the chorus melody and chord progression

What do you think, did PSB use it as inspiration/rip it off?

Not that song in particular, but it is very Lennon (deliberately so I'd suggest given the song's theme). See also the chorus of, "Instant Karma!"

Nobody Told Me's intro in turn was inspired by Macca's ''Coming Up''!
EDIT: Sorry I think that's John's ''I Dont Wanna Face It''. I'm very fond of his and Yoko's ''Milk and Honey'' album, haven't listened to it for a while though...
