Spaghetti Records

I submit this question every year to Annually but it never seems to get asked.
What happened to Spaghetti Records? Did big label funding get pulled? Why were the Pete Burns and Kiki Kokova releases not on spaghetti but completely new labels?
Anyone have any inside intel?

Dont know anything. But couldn't believe how shit masterboy shake it up and dance was .

Here's the Discogs page for the label. So looks like it was primarily used for Cicero's releases. That was a fine investment!

I always thought it sounded like a poor rip off of Dr. Alban It's My Life. Masterboy did some great Euro tracks later on, but this early one, was not great at all, wonder who liked it and why they signed it to Spaghetti but then no other releases by other artists other than Boy George and the Ignorants - another odd signing to the label (just checked discogs and it says they were PSBs dancers so that explains that one)

I love the Masterboy track. Neil bought the CD single in a Frankfurt record shop while on the Performance tour because the sleeve had a drawing of two guys trying to look like the Pet Shop Boys. He didn’t play it for ages but when he did they both immediately loved it and it quickly became the theme tune for the European leg. They liked it so much they decided to license it as the second Spaghetti release.

Thanks for this I never knew that was the reason it was signed (having said that I might have read it years ago in Literally and forgotten about it!) Just googled the cover for Shake it up dance and it does like just PSB.
