Apart of all of these promotional performances, they also played So Hard (Rockopop) and Home and Dry (Operacion Triunfo). At least, one of their performances is shown on New Year's Eve in a show called "Cachitos...".

I understand that, since it's a short tribute to the 70th anniversary of Spanish Radio and Television, the phrase "You were always on my mind" fit them... Or maybe they just included it because it's a great song. :D

Sí lo es, RTVE va a estar celebrándolo todo el año. Que se haya estrenado en el BF, no es porque sí.
