Cat Storm - nice PSB covers

A friend recommended this female artist from my hometown Cologne, Germany, to me. She just released an EP with four PSB covers. The lead single "Heart" isn't that extraordinary - but I quite like her version of "A man could get arrested". If anyone's interested - she's playing live at the "Kölner Philharmonie" in May.

From the extracts, side A is not bad at all - they're quite faithful arrangements, albeit somewhat stripped back.
The deadpan vocals are pleasant enough too.
On the downside, I do not really understand the point, as nothing here is in any way unique or innovative. It's all very clean and clinical.
