Pet Shop Boys in Die Welt (8.6.26)

Pet Shop Boys have a short article published today in Die Welt magazine -

The article basically says Neil and Chris prefer West Berlin to East Berlin, and that they have had a flat in Wilmersdorf for about 16 years. Chris says West Berlin is “much cooler” and typically said he likes the architecture around Bahnhof Zoo. Neil said he enjoys the flea and antiques market at Fehrbelliner Platz, and the 1920s atmosphere around Pariser Straße.
The article also says they originally thought their flat was in Charlottenburg, only later realising it was actually in Wilmersdorf — which is very Pet Shop Boys.
Apparently Neil and Chris say they were chased down the street by someone with a video camera, and then chased all over Berlin after getting into a taxi. Chris then criticised the number of paparazzi in Berlin compared with the number of celebrities there
