I've just started reading iPod, therefore i am by Dylan Jones, editor of GQ magazine. It is littered with references to PSB and he says that Being boring makes him well up even now!

Just read this book, whilst on holiday last week. It’s actually fairly entertaining, once you get over the seemingly constant barrage of name-dropping from Jones.
He does indeed mention PSB a great deal, even making the audacious claim that he had a hand in inspiring them to write ’Paninaro’. Having wrote a piece in i-D magazine about the Paninari culture on the streets of Milan, he claims he was misinformed that PSB had written a song about it. They hadn't, but when Chris read the piece he thought it a good idea and wrote 'Paninaro'. Not sure how true this little anecdote is, but I do vaguely recall something about a piece in a magazine inspiring the song.
I learnt one thing from the book anyway; It surprised me that the term Paninari came from the bread roll, ‘Panino’ that the young Italians would eat as they’d sit on their motorbikes outside Milan’s sandwich bars. I’d always wondered where the name came from...

That's some claim to fame. Belfast's full of good baps. I'm having baps for breakfast tomorrow but sadly they aren't Belfast ones

I think the Pets have previously attributed the Paninaro article in question to a journalist called Peter Martin, who worked at Smash Hits for a while.
