Sending gifts

Has anyone here sent a card or gift to the Boys and received anything in return? A thank-you note? A confirmation that the item was delivered to Neil or Chris? Anything?
Or has anyone asked for an item to be autographed (a CD sleeve or record) and returned in the mail?
I was considering sending something along with my questions for Literally and I just want to manage my expectations
Thanks!

You can try but don´t expect too much. In the 80s Neil used to correct all spelling mistakes in fans´ letters and send them back corrected.

Do you speak from painful experience?

No. I was born in 1985 so I haven´t send them letters in the 80s. I tried once in 2000 or 2001.

It just as well that you didn't then as your spelling wouldn't have been too hot!

It's well known that Chris prefers begging letters from children's hospices. He's throws any presents he recieves out.

That was fun, I used to laugh a lot about it. But the fact is, I need Neil to be my English teacher (I wouldn´t mind to be corrected all the time;))

You should send him underwear then. Size: XL, as he mentioned somewhere.

Don't see why I should - he's never sent me anything

No really but when i was 12 i wrote a letter to neil and gave it to a member of the german board 'cause she went to see C2H and gave it to Neil. (she met him during a signing session) a few weeks later i got a signed card from Neil with best wishes and stuff. Was a nice day, i remember i went kind of mad. *lol*

Thats a nice little tale.
I've met Neil three times (twice at signings, once in the Ghetto) and have only ever really exchanged mildly sarcastic comments. He comes across as quite the bitter queen.
