I'm asking what the difference between the following mixes of the Dusty track, 'In Private':
7" Remix
Remix Edit
I would like to know if there is any difference between these tracks.

According to the discography there's neither a 7" remix or a Remix Edit of the track...

Exactly, the only remix is on the remix 12" and the DE CD remix.... no 7" remix.

The fact that I have gotten my hands on 3 Abbey Road 10" 1-sided acetates with different mix names, two of which state 4:24 (7" Remix) and the other with no track legnth (Remix Edit), wanted me to ask. There are no matrix no's to help either which could have solved everything

Being as they are on acetates, I refuse to play them as quality deteriorates so sadly, mp3's will not be available...
