a similar word,
fundiment, is a polite way of referring to the part of our anatomy often referred to as the a*s-h**e.

"It's fundamental that what we do only exists in our own universe. When you like Pet Shop Boys, you are in our world."

I think it's perfect. Neil has always said this would be a very Pet SHop Boys-ish album, and the title implies that. "Fundamental Pet Shop Boys".

Probably april 10th.
Fundamental Pet Shop Boys is definatley a title in the same vein as Very Pet Shop Boys (as opposed to Release, a title wich signaled something un-PSB)

Yeah, it really sounds like a "Back to the roots" sign and refers to Neil's statement that the new songs will sound like what they're known for - songs like It's a sin etc. Think it makes sense and I'm looking forward to it.

I just noticed that a lot of the songs on the album end in "al".
"Psychological"
"Integral"
"Minimal"
Interesting. The words sound very, how do you say, smart. I'm very excited for this album.
