There was already a tragic fire at King's Cross one year after Actually.dVTB wrote:I don't think they should write a new song about it. The lyrics of the original King's Cross did already get a totally new meaning... - After "Dreaming Of The Queen", this is now the second PSB song that gets a new meaning due a dramatic event taking place years after the song was released.

"It´s fundamental that we do only exist in our own universe. When you like Pet Shop Boys, you are in our world. This is absolutely crucial to our entire outlook...what we do has an incredibly strong identity and applies only to us. It´s a case of not recognising the existence of anybody else!". Neil Tennant.

Eh, if they do, and they release it as a single, I'll auction all my PSB records on eBay, starting from 1 cent.

I also thouht about it, but I thought that maybe they could just release
"London" as it was never released in UK..., and for example give all the money from it for charity - helping the families of the victims...
This song was written prior to the attacks, and will just be a proof that PSB have ALWAYS loved this city...
After reading Ray's comment, I think that many people might just find this as a "cheep and desperate" promotion efford..., but maybe if it was done in a "right way" - it would make sense? What do you think?

no time for tears would be very fitting, but if there was any debate if they were going to release it as a single perhaps they would now release it for the money to go to victims.but then again its a tough call as there are some who might feel any release of such a song at this point in time wouldnt be proper. its a tough call.

I got a better idea, lets find these bastards responsible, put them all in a room and use the flame thrower. Maybe we can all stone them.
Yo, Mr. Dopeman, you think your slick;
Ya sold crack to my sister, and now she's sick.
But if she happens to die, because of your drug;
Im puttin' in your culo, a .38 slug!
