It's a great song with powerful lyrics, no doubt about it.

Agreed with all said here - it's a fantastic tune and has a little bit of everything. The orchestration is fantastic and works so well with all the tinkly bits (best way I can describe them!!).

It's great to hear a studio recording of the album - there's so much there that was lost on a wet and windy night in Trafalgar Square.

It's funny though - I'm really past caring how well they do in terms of chart positions etc, I just want them to keep churning out top material that I like, with this being another great addition to their catalogue and my collection.

Maybe it's my age but talk of singles, radio play, chart placings and the whys and why nots surrounding this kind of thing just don't bother me any more. I can't really see that they have a great deal of relevance to the charts any more and think we should just enjoy them while they keep making music.

That last bit isn't really relevant to this thread - just thought I'd get it off my chest!

Reminds me of John Barry that track and Night Falls reminds me of John Carpenter. I love the theme to Assault on Precinct 13 by John Carpenter. I wonder how much the boys were inspired by film composers. They did, after all, work with Morricone.
