misheard PSB lyrics

#1 Post by loon »

This site may have been on here before, apologies if it has, but I found some of the misheard quotes really funny.

enjoy! :D
what's the difference between a rabbit that exercises every day and a rabbit that wears a red nose?

One is a fit bunny and the other is a bit funny.

Some sins... It´s a sin...

Ole, Ole, watch the world fall down.

Misheard Lyrics:
Tell me baby how to generate long yellow tea
Original Lyrics:
Tell me baby how you generate longevity

Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

Pet Shop Boys & Dusty Springfield's, "What Have I Done To Deserve This" (Make Correction) (Suggest Different Misheard Lyrics)

Misheard Lyrics:
How am I gonna get food?
Original Lyrics:
How am I gonna get through?

my personal favourite

They go behind, why did I change my mind?

Only when Nightlife tour came out did I realize that in 'Only The Wind' Neil sings 'behind the locked door' for 14 years I'd though it was just 'behind the door'
Then you go wow - behind the locked door is soooo much cooler - one word makes heaps of difference.
Evertonians are born not manufactured.
We do not choose; we are chosen.
Those who understand need no explanation.
Those that don't understand don't matter.

Same song - only a few weeks ago I realised it was "someone's dustbin lid playing havoc with the peace" - NOT "someone's just been nicked..."

That's exactly what I under-
stood at first:

You're a New York City boy
You never had a party ...

For years I thought the second verse of 'To Face the Truth' began: "Loyal with a kiss to prove..." rather than "A lawyer with a case to prove".
Passion, love, sex, money, violence, religion, injustice and death. More on that story later.
