Simple answer, YES.

I can't see it doing very well though - the only artist soundtracks that usually chart are really big films (War of the Worlds, Lord of the Rings, etc).

Mind you Closer to Heaven got to about #107, probably only on fanbase sales, so there's a chance.

Yes, although they're sometimes quite conservative with the rules. (Define 'classical', anyway...)

The Mad Billy Orbit album (Pieces in a Modern Style) was number one for ages on it, but that upset a lot of people.
