Alas, when I first heard Being boring, I couldn't quite figure out why Neil left the station with " half a sack ".
Poor guy ... Was he deformed ? No wonder he had some trepidation.

Fortunately, I got to look at the lyrics shortly there after & realized he had a haversack. Boy, was I relieved.
I like it here ~~ wherever it is ...

What?: - I was under the impression those *were* the lyrics until right now.

LOL, I had a good laugh when I
looked it up in the lyric sheet ...

... you'll never have a bored day.

Btw, one of my 'Nightlife' CDs got
a misspressed booklet: 1, 2, 3, 4,
2, 2, 4, 10, 11, 10, 11 and 12 (two
times the same photos). It's 7243

else maybe?

Wasn't there a website called "misherd lyrikks" or something like that some years back? I seem to remember some absolute classics like "Betsy's not your girlfriend"
"Unprofessional? Us? Sir. Might I with due respect remind you that Mister Vandemar and myself burned down the City of Troy? We brought the Black Plague to Flanders. We have assassinated a dozen kings, five popes, half a hundred heroes and two accredited gods. Our last commission before this was the torturing to death of an entire monastery in sixteenth century Tuscany. We are utterly professional." - Mr Croup

Apart from a few exceptions I've always thought that Neil's singing is quite easy to understand wheras Bernard Sumner for example is very often quite hard to understand!

example from PSB I understood wrong as well:

NYC boy you never have a party

and something from new order (song:close range) I got wrong:

wrong understood: agressive temper high

and the original verse is: a grass of ten foot high

I used to think it was 'suburbia, where the suburbs melt into oblivion'.

Kris wrote:For years I thought the second verse of 'To Face the Truth' began: "Loyal with a kiss to prove..." rather than "A lawyer with a case to prove".
what is the rest of that verse? I have problems with 'sift this evidence the blacks' is that what it is?
