"It´s fundamental that we do only exist in our own universe. When you like Pet Shop Boys, you are in our world. This is absolutely crucial to our entire outlook...what we do has an incredibly strong identity and applies only to us. It´s a case of not recognising the existence of anybody else!". Neil Tennant.

Oh, I don't know. Apart from the obvious similarities, they both have a very different 'feel'. This sleeve means something very different to Introspective to me, so I think it's fine that someone has used this. Maybe someone had done a similar sleeve before the PSBs anyway?
Good evening PASADENA!!!!!!!!!

What´s the name of that Beach Boys record, by the way? I´d love to see it.

Yeah... Two years before said compilation was made as well. That's genius of them!

But that is not copying. I don't think the beach boys (or whoever was alive by then) were influenced by the pet shop boys. its ridiculous. But i've always thought that Garbage's version 2.0 cover would had never happened if the lego version of very hadn't been released.

The Beach Boys are probably my second favourite band. If you've never really given them a listen... you should! Wonderful, brilliant, uplifting pop music.

I attended to a Brian Wilson concert las summer at the FIB festival. It was brilliant. I love the beach boys, too. : ) "God only knows" is such a huge song!

Good detail that one. I have that Garbage record, by the way.
