I don't agree with Chris. Coldplay are good, no doubt about it... but PSB have crafted a bunch of masterpieces all over their career.

What if there actually lies some truth in what he said, isn't Chris kind of a brutally honest guy?

if the songs they wrote were not as colplays then god help the new album - perhaps it could be called PSB Bedwetters
Still waiting to hear the Adam Freeland, Manhattan Clique and Axwell mixes of Integral.

hehe.. Chris is just making fun.
How many hits has PSB and how many hits has Coldplay?
I think this tells everything.

Well irony or not.....I can't stand Coldplay! Chris Martin sounds like a wailing cat.

He took a quote that Coldplay made in NME where they said that they started X&Y from scratch after they realised the songs weren't as good as their first 2 albums. Chris was joking and this website has taken it at face value!

He's absolutely mocking it!
Speed of Sound is a dreadfull re-write of Clocks. Even better; you can put the two of them on top of each other, and besides a transpose, the chords are exactly the same! Shame on Coldplay...tsk tsk!

I couldn´t agree more!!!!!
I just like his wife, who seems a nice woman.

"It´s fundamental that we do only exist in our own universe. When you like Pet Shop Boys, you are in our world. This is absolutely crucial to our entire outlook...what we do has an incredibly strong identity and applies only to us. It´s a case of not recognising the existence of anybody else!". Neil Tennant.

I don't share the Chris's opinion. Coldplay are good, but not like Chris says!
