Zeus On The Loose wrote: It's really quite hilarious how so many people just accept that The Beatles were brilliant, genius , changed the world etc. without actually having looked up what was going on at the time and what was people's perception of them. You just all accept they're the best band ever JUST because you have been brought up to accept this as fact.

Muppets.
Err, no. That post was a straight reply to Janet, Eldritch and dVTB who I was having that discussion with and 'Muppets' was clearly refering to people who do what was stated above ,said in a humourous manner ,is hardly an offensive term and was clearly not used in an offensive context but I urge all three to tell us if they were offended or not.

Oh, well...this thread is officially over now that the Undertaker has taken it upon him as yet another effort to start his personal vendetta against me.
Does cameos only.

lol, personal vendetta! Have a day off. I've lost count the amount of times you have referred to me in a topic lately, going on about populations (probably somewhere in this thread as well) I was just pointing out that once again you were digging holes deeper and deeper, arguing points that were just moronic and all you could do was call people muppets. Yet once again, you shout from the rooftops and throw a paddy because someone dared to insult you a few posts ago.

Back to the the discussion regarding John Lennon.

Robbie Williams would never have had a big hit back in the late 70's/ early 80's but John Lennon would have no problem having a big hit these days. Infact, i believe Imagine sold thousands and thousands five years ago. The two cannot be compared in terms of popularity. Infact, comparing the smirking Robbie to the genius of John Lennon is docile.

Err, no I called 'people who blindly accept that the Beatles were the best band ever without actually liking them or having done any research etc.' muppets, not the people I was discussing with or anyone on this forum in particular.

Why do you feel the need to make it sound as if I insulted forum members? Whatever next? I'll say 'people who have unprotected sex are idiots' and you'll say I've insulted forum members because there might be people in this forum that do?

Oh and there's nothing personal about quoting something you have posted in a public forum, you have said that people from smaller countries are ignorants.

John Lennon celebrated his first solo US no. 1 hit
Wasn't Zeus talking about the UK chart?
No this was about number 1's in the US/Uk does not matter as I said John has had more than Gary ..
End of.........................................
For God's sake you stupid old man, the discussion has always been about the UK chart  And it was interesting and well mannered until you decided to get involved with your usual verbal vomit.[/quote]

Bring it on, you are a sad person as I said John has had more Number 1's than Gary..

You said he had not had a hit before he died but he did with "what ever gets you through the night"..

You lost so you started as always throwing insults you always do it..

Which to me says you are a sad person..
They make a little go along way.. very Minimal but Fundamental.

Err, we were talking about the UK charts. When you realised John Lennon had no UK #1s before he died (you had claimed he had a couple), you started the insults by calling me a sad person and then changed your tune going on and on about him having had a #1 in the US.

While not being a Beatles fan I still think that Robbie Williams and John Lennon shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. Disrespectful to the dead and all that....

Because it's what you always do. You always claim that people are throwing insults at you and that they are personally attacking you. I simply pointed out that it was YOU that posted the first insult.....again

Silly insults on a PSB board never bother me. I wont go screaming and shouting to the mods like some do. But you seem to make isues out of something that isnt there, more often than not, harping on about breaking forum rules and no doubt PM'ing the mods, demanding something is done.

If you are offended that much by a bit of name calling on a PSB forum and i'm talking about numerous threads where you have cried about it, it's probably best you don't post at all, because with the amount of posts you post, it's going to happen. If you can't take it, do not give it out.
