Just listened to this fantastic track and i'd really like to know what PSB are going to do with it? I can remember reading somewhere that PSB were not keen on it. My personal opinion is that it's awesome and i feel that they must be thinking of releasing this, probably totally reworking it. If they aren't that keen on it and are not going to use it, why not just hide it away on Disco 3?

It'll probably come out as a bonus track for one of the singles for the next album. I think the reason it wasn't on Disco 3 is that they thought it wasn't up to scratch.

I think it's a smashing track as well. One of the best of recent years.

On a similar note: I wonder if 'You've got to start somewhere' is part of the sessions for the new album? Or Little Black Dress?

Add to those 'Bright Young Things' I know i'm in the minority of liking this track but i do think it's quite catchy.

Yes a great track.........really would like to see this released I have a low volume tape to MP3 conversion recording of it. It was broadcast as part of the late John Peel Sessions Neil & Chris did in 2002 just before Disco 3.

I think both tracks are fine and could do with a bit more work on them.. would like to see a rework on Budubadubadub......

I dunno, I think it will say unreleased. We were just lucky to get a listen on the John Peel show. It was an old tune they weren't so in love with. There are loads of old tunes they have never released or bothered to re-record properly. Perhaps they will release a collection of them like Soft Cell recently did with their bedsit tapes.

"A Powerful Friend" is one of the greatest recent PSB tracks. It's totally original in it's punky electro feel. Don't understand why Neil doesn't like it. I thought it was the best of the Peel Session tracks.

As for the rest of the mentioned tracks, I think "You Gotta Start Somewhere" is one of the weakest PSB tracks of all time, so I hope we don't ever get a studio recording of that one. Bright Young Things and Little Black Dress are decent enough, but B-side material at best, IMO.

BYT, LBD and APF are really good.... takes a bit of listening to, but you really get hooked onto them....

A powerful Friend, A little Black Dress, You've Got to Start Somewhere etc. sounds too " Closer to Heaven ". I like it but I think they don't release it.

" BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS " is a wonderful track. Maybe this as a B-side or rework it for an album ?

Yeah well in my opinion, Bright Young Things, Motoring and Only Love are decent enough, but only b-side quality.

I like "Only Love" for the new album. It´s got a great and different sound.

Ooh! i don't think I know 'Only Love' but I agree about the other two.

I absolutely love 'Tall Thin men'. I reckon that's one of their sharpest lyrics in a long time.
