PSB Playing At Abercrombie

#1 Post by westendboy87 »

Haha I know it isn't a big deal but I got really excited about this. Yesterday I was at Abercrombie, and I'm in mid-sentence talking to one of the employees and I hear a VERY familiar beat on the speakers. It was "If Looks Could Kill" by no one other than PSB. I immediately said, "oh wow it's the Pet Shop Boys," and she just stared blanky at me in a "wtf" kind of way. I dunno....it got me excited.

yeah at abercrombie I once heard "before" and another time New York city boy .somebody high up in the main office must like them.I asked an employee once and she said they dont have any control over what gets played, they are giving what to play. in what format I dont know but I have heard them played there and amazingly sometimes its even a remix of a PSB song and not the standard version. its like someone is picky about what they play by them also.

Yes ... hearing PSB in public does that to me, too.

Just a few weeks ago, as I was walking out of the Sherman Oaks Tower store, the overhead speakers in the pedestrian plaza started playing What have I done to deserve this?. Ahhhhh..
And, come to think of it, I bought my first PSB album - Behavior - after hearing Being Boring in a shoe store at the Beverly Center.

I like it here ~~ wherever it is ...

I work at K-Mart as a cashier (I know, a shit job, but give me slack I'm only 18) and every once in a while they'll either play West End Girls or What Have I Done To Deserve This. It's weird though because one time I was at my register and I kept humming What have I done to deserve this? to myself, then all of the sudden the freaking song played! Sometimes I think I have a little but of psychic in me ;-)

I heard What have I done to deserve this? in some clothes shop once. And Can you forgive her? or I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing at McDonald´s. :D

I've heard "FYOG" in Spain in 2002 at Burger King what surprised me quite a lot.
