The show is called Girls And Boys: The Story Of British Pop and is about the role of sexuality in British pop music over the past 40 years.

The PSB interview wasn't new. It was taken from an interview that they did for a BBC programme a couple of years ago about the best pop duo's of the 80's.

The show has also just used the PSB remix of Girls and Boys for it's end titles.

yup - that's the one

As part of the history of sex and pop music

PSB were shown straight after the advent of AIDS in the 80's - "the sexy glamourous party was well and truly over ... a new pop duo arrived ... as if in mourning"

- Usual snippets of videos - West end girls, It's a sin, rent

- Brief interview with the boys - talking about how they were a flip to the outrageousness of durans, culture club etc, - bits about standing still in performances etc nothing revelatory - but then whatd'ya expect in 10 seconds?!

- soundbites from other musos suggesting the songs they write were all the better for having to be ambiguous sexually, how they observe from the edges, sidestepping the messy issue of sex - and some reference to Oscar Wilde :)

For once I would love for Neil to say "we didn't dance during our performances because we knew we'd look like absolute idiots" ....
Looking for love and getting nothing that's worth regretting.

Did you record it ? :D
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?

Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.
