Feelings
Long time ago I made a consult about the feelings before the new album. I think it has changed with the new information, so what's your feeling now?:
1) Very calm
2) Calm
3) So and so
4) A little bit excited and nervous
5) Excited and nervous enough
6) Very excited
7) Even more than very excited
1) Very calm

6) Very excited
7) Even more than very excited

I've got a feeling
Should we talk about the time
When I last heard from you
You left me waiting all alone so blue
Take me to our Promised Land
Where I'll find someone new
But I can't even stand myself without you
But there is nothing I can do
I'm a fool for hurting you
And the only thing I care about
Never will come true
Cos I've got a feeling
I can believe in
I'll never change
So turn around and walk away
Yeah I've got a feeling
I can believe in
I'll never change
So turn around and walk away
Can I justify myself
Having you around
Keeping both my feet on solid ground
I've been waiting for so long
Can anybody tell
You always thought you new me very well
But there is nothing I can do
I'm a fool for hurting you
And the only thing I care about
Never will come true
Cos I've got a feeling
I can believe in
I'll never change
So turn around and walk away
Yeah I've got a feeling
I can believe in
I'll never change.
So turn around and walk away

I'm a fan of Pink Floyd and some of the progressive stuff from the late 70s and early 80s such as Genesis.Ghost within this house wrote:Or 'Wish You Were Here'?
.. I am v.happy with the Pink Floyd thing... I love Pink Floyd
In Geowaynes website he describes some of the Tracks from The Potemkin soundtrack as Progressive Rock sounding alot like Genesis.
From waynes website: "Chris and Neil take advantage of the extended instrumental format and inherently ambitious artistic environment to engage in musical experimentation as seldom before, employing unusual time-signatures, rhythmic patterns, and at times tremendous dissonance. Some passages even bear a surprising stylistic resemblance to certain instrumentals by Genesis. For this reason, it's tempting to describe this music as the Pet Shop Boys' stab at "prog rock."
That was my first thought after listening to Potemkin.
Could it be that they have carried some Influence from the Potemkin sessions into the new Album?
Progressive Electro Pop?
