Do you like PSB talking about political things in songs?

Some songs of the new album are going to talk a little bit about some social and political situations in the world.
For example: "Luna Park", "Integral". I think is GREAT.

What do you think about it?

Dunno, really. I quite like "It's alright" and "dj Culture", but it's more because of the sound of them than because of the lyrics. I guess to me the lyrics don't matter that much, if the music is good

Till now it worked fine. Ass long as the statements are less importent than the Music it's Allright. Let the DJ culture come first than politics.

I don't much like it. Actually, 'It's Alright' is pretty much the only song I really NEVER listen to, and always skip. I associate PSB music with heightened emotion, ecstasy, optimism, sex, love, passion, and all things good and merry.

Kings Cross, Shopping, The Theatre are all excellent political songs.

They have brains, and shouldn't be ashamed to use it.

I love PSB's political songs (of course I mostly share their leftie political views). They are subtle, and that makes all the difference from other political music-acts.

I think the PSB manage to get some socio-political comment into several songs and have the knack of pulling it off really well - ie without it being overtly in your face ... I for one am happy for them to continue doing so in this vein
