Why being aggressive against me ?
Have I insulted you by argueing my
opinion? Do I have to like them ?
Real 'cover-' or 'tribute bands' are a
different thing to me as they normal-
ly totally 'imitate' the band they are
paying respect or tribute to (which is
pretty much OK by me, just for YOUR
info), mainly by imitating the sound/s
of their music, their style and voices
which isn't obviously the case here as
these peeps are women and physical-
ly not able (I guess). Certainly you
can pay respect to your favoured ar-
tists by mentioning them in some of
your lyrix or by covering one song or
by painting them or whatever, but this
is a bit different. 'Pet Shop Noise' for
instance are tributing them their own
way but it's more private and fun and
not 'cause of getting money right out
of it.
For me, this is totally different, it just
looks odd, boring, unable plus very
uninspired to me and that's my per-
sonal opinion, just for YOUR informa-
tion, if you pls. will allow me to have
one in here - thx. muchly for paying
attention.
Good for you! Do I have to care ...?virtual1 wrote:I have several work mates that

Didn't you see the smiley behind that sentence? =) - you are def. entitled to your opinion, but you didn't give much constructive critisism WHY you dislike them! It seemed like you thought that they were invading on PSB:s territory and that you'd be afraid that some ppl may like them more than the real thing!Pani wrote:Many thanx!virtual1 wrote:Just for your information!![]()

*laughing* - so you think it'd be better if they'd do a sex change then? - COME ON! - that was one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard! - so ppl of a different sex from the original artists aren't entitled to do covers? they have to like some other band with the _right sex_ then??? - oh my...Real 'cover-' or 'tribute bands' are a

Yes, it's different! - and so what???? - so you cannot express your devotion to somebody by acting/dressing like them? - so you mean that all impersinators as well as all imitators are lacking respect for the ones they're imitating? Sheez...Certainly you can pay respect to your favoured ar-
tists by mentioning them in some of

Yes, and how far has that gotten them? - ever thought that some ppl might have bigger goals in life than being mentined now and then in a forum like this and maybe have a fan base of 200 ppl in total????'Pet Shop Noise' for
instance are tributing them their own
way but it's more private and fun and

of it.
You are most welcome my lady! - but your opinion makes not much of a sense though "looks odd" - of course it does! Two ppl not even half the age of Neil & Chris and of different sex are doing their songs? So what? What's the problem with "looking odd"? "Boring?" in what sense? They don't wanna make you dance? They want to make you yawn? (or even cry?) - hey, sad life you got in that case... "Unable" of what? Attracting new ppl to listen to the PSB??? Unable to sing???? Unable to make ppl dance? Unable to make ppl like them? Don't get that one... "Uninspired"???? What???? What???? They dress like PSB! They choose to not only do singles from them but odd album tracks! They talk to their fans thru their website and they're touring/promoting like hell right now and you call them uninspired???????? *sigh*For me, this is totally different, it just

for me, if they are a tribute band type act then theres no problem as thats the modus operandi of these kinds of acts. I just dont like it when you see some new band who are so enthralled by a certain group they emulate them rather than do their own thing. here its clearly done simply as part of the act.so its cool.
I think they are kinda sexy, plus their domino dancing backing track is better than the PSB version.I'll buy the CD when it hits I-tunes.

You read a lot more into my words
than it's been put into them. Plus, I
needn't to explain or justify neither
my feelings nor my opinion about it.
Seems you take my dislike a bit too
serious and personal.
Like them if you want. I don't. FIN.

If it is successful I would like to see a second (and final) tribute album.
What would be a great selection? I like to see some b-sides or extra tracks covered.
1. Paninaro or P95 (Sex)
2. One thing leads to another
3. Sexy Northener
4. Why dont we live together
5. I'm with stupid
6. We're the West End Girls
7. A view from you balcony
8. Try it (i'm in love with a married man)
9. This must be the place I've waited years to leave
10. Nervously
I doubt it would coem to this, but its an idea for the future.

Yo, Mr. Dopeman, you think your slick;
Ya sold crack to my sister, and now she's sick.
But if she happens to die, because of your drug;
Im puttin' in your culo, a .38 slug!

Im not so keen on their West End girls cover, but love the Domino Dancing one- the video was pretty good as well. Its actually a far better version of the song than the original. Im not a huge fan of the original, but Ive had this version on my player for a few months now and always listen to it!
I, too, thought they were really rather just doing it for the publicity and kick until someone pointed out to me that one actually doesnt sing and they tried to be faithful to what the boys used to be. I do hear quite a bit of PSB on swedish radio from time to time- mixmegapol almost always plays at least two PSB tunes every night after 1 am.
