I think the reason why they don't do concerts more often is - they're too expensive, especially for the concert thing PSB would like to do! Guess it's their view not to do a concert if it wouldn't fit their views in doing it!
For not doing a concert in Australia: It's too expensive, if you don't have a good promoter, who can help you with MONEY... The question is always 1. how many halls can you fill with people and 2. would the money you get with these gigs be enough to pay the things for stage crew/artists ect...
In my eyes - gigs in South America, Asia and Australia/New Zealand are very expensive and a losing business. You have to make much money with gigs in Europe and North America to move on with a tour in Asia/Australia. And PSB aren't an act like Kylie, Robbie, Madonna or any other current successful artist.

What we all have to understand is that the boys will tour when they want to - I have heard that the next tour will be pretty extensive and it will be a world tour split into dates from late this year into early next year. I would say there is a good chance of the boys touring Australia - mainly to generate some interest in the closer to heaven musical. Chris short? I think he's 5'10 and that's the same height as me!!How come PSB don't do concerts more often? I feel like it is really a shame. I 've seen their concerts on video. I feel jealous not to have gone. Why don't they come to Australia and do a concert. Another thing. Why is Chris so short. I know it's genetics and everthing but, does he really have to be so short?
I hope this year is a good one for the boys and I'm really looking forward to the new album (whenever it's realesed!)

Pet Shop Boys donæt tour that often because they need to stage a concert productions in order to tour. They completely lack stage-personalities, and can never just knock out a couple of concerts on the fly. They need a "concept" and heavy staging to make it work as a live act. Even the Release-shows was staged (but, cleverly, staged to look as a "authentic" rock& roll show).
That's the reason. It's not that they don't have money to go on tour (many people on this forum actually believes that multi-millionares N&C are nearly broke). It's just quite a bit of work to be done for PSB to work as a live act, and therefore they concentrate on quite big tours wich lately have been after album releases. Expect a full world tour in 2006/2007.

eminems pretty short I saw him go into TRL once. I imagine that chris is a tad short as neil isnt even 6 foot and if you look at them standing next to each other I find it hard to believe theres only 2 inches difference between them as neil seems alot taller than chris.
not that it really matters, the entertainment field quite frankly has alot of people who are shorter than one thinks.

If you check some pics from Please booklet it looks like Chris would be taller than Neil.glennjridge wrote:eminems pretty short I saw him go into TRL once.
