I started to laugh when I saw the headline of this topic.
Interviewer:
-What would you tell someone about yourself if you wanted to impress them?
Chris:
-I´ve got a 12-inch plonker.

Exactly. It's the way Bush would say it.
Isn't it Blair that would be saying it though? I know theyre not fans of Blair at the minute but it's Bush that's the stewped one. Though i guess if Blair is following Bush' lead then it makes him even more stewped!
Listening to the constitution of the song, i'd say Bush was the stewped one tho. Guess it doesnt matter tho eh, it can be used as an americanism whoever its about.
I'd be surprised if it was intentional to alter the way its pronounced tho!

Neil is always very precise with regards to pronunciation so I think it's certainly deliberate. Whether it is a nod to Bush (even if the song is addressed to him) or simply because it is more catchy (I can't stop singing it), I don't know.

Sounds to me like the pronounciation might be different on alternating lines, ie:
Oh - oh, I'm with Stew-pid
Oh - oh, I'm with Stoopid
I'm sure Neil has been very deliberate about pronounciation / intonation.
