A Stupid question

Is the version I'm with stupid on the radio the radio version? It goes from 19 minutes in to 22 and a half so 3:30. Is the album version longer?

the album version is 3:28, so I really think Radio version = album version this time! This version send to the radios should be the 3:28 version...

Did anybody else notice that the first chorus (after the first verse) seems to be missing the pads used in the second chorus? Similar to the Pop Art version of Flamboyant. Thus you really don't get the chord change of the second chorus and the first one just being Neil chanting "I'm with stupid" four times.

Has there ever been a case where the first single from a PSB album hasn't been the same as the album version (except on Introspective of course)? Usually it's the other way round, in that subsequent singles get beefed up from the way they sound on the album (Suburbia, Heart, I wouldn't normally etc.).

Yes! It's a total tease. I keep expecting it in the first chorus. A great hook

Before and Home and Dry were both edited (albeit very slightly) for the single version, weren't they?

And I wouldn't normally do this kind of thing single version is almost 2 minutes longer than album version.

isnt that what songs do, ie build up? I also notice on the first chorus the chorus is pretty much all one chord, whereas if you listen to the second chorus they added a second chord change. on the second chorus they also added those delayed repeating "with stupid" after neil sings the chorus.they werent in the first chorus.

so it pretty much falls in line what good songs do, build up rather than show you everything in the first verse and chorus.

Did anyone noticed that:
the song has a similar sound sample to the one used in one of "Yesterday when I was mad" remix (special version)?

I don't know how to describe the sound effect from Yesterday, when I was mad - it's more like the sound of an elephant.. anyone else noticed this?

Yes, but most times the chords are the same in the chorus all through the song.
