Pre-Order I'm with Stupid

#1 Post by Cloned Trooper »

I've pre-ordered my copys of the single from the official site. One question I forgot to ask was wether sales from the official site go towards the chart position. Does anybody no the answer to this?

I don't think online sales count. I know they didn't a while back but I don't know about now. I'd rather get from the shop as it is far easier to do.

I'm pretty sure the pre-ordered sales DO count towards the chart. 'Jack and Jill Party' was released exclusively through Recordstore and it made #75 in the UK chart. Besides, surely PSB wouldn't give us the option of pre-ordering singles/albums online if it meant those sales were chart ineligible?

I agree with you about going to a shop, though. I always consider buying a new PSB single/album an event (how sad I am!) and I'm looking forward to my trips to HMV on May 8th and 22nd respectively. :)
