Some other little PSB bits in Q

#1 Post by ! »

The 50 Essential Tracks To Download This Month
18 - WEST END GIRLS - Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have now spent 21 years as Britain's gretest pop group. Next month's new album is a corker. Celebrate early by revisiting their first Number 1.

SCROLL WITH IT: What's on their iPOD? - Collin McAllister & Justin Ryan
18 - Pet Shop Boys - Here (PSB Extended Mix)

RECOMMENDED: Also rating four stars on the Q-ometer
Pet Shop Boys - Release *4 stars means excellent btw*

Word! - The things they said
"Axl Rose sent us flowers and a very touching note."
Pet Shop Boys' Neil Tennant on meeting an unlikely fan

I've only had a glance at my Q so there may be more... sorry (not really) if somebody has mentioned these

It's a bit like when you use a butt plug or when the cork of a wine bottle shoots off which means exciting at the very least

The thing is I've been taking a look at my Collins Dictionary and I've seen different meanings for this word and some of them are positive and others are negative. :?

I never said you did. It just struck me as odd, yet possibly telling, that you would insert this example into your explanation of the colloquialism.

Perhaps, we should " pull the plug " on this matter before it becomes part of your mythology - like the " sealed copy " charge with which you're already identified.

What do you say?? Truce?
You are rude
Rude? Hardly.
Prone to innuendo & instigating trouble? Usually.
Naughty but not mean spirited? Very.

Techno, I have nothing against you. I sincerely appreciate & enjoy your contributions to this forum BUT:
May I remind you that YOU brought the subject up. So, as the saying goes: If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
Yet again-even though I twitted you about it, I still wish to " put a cork in it ". :gag:

To un-digress: The Here (PSB new extended Mix)* which I'm sure is the reference Q meant* is a GREAT track.

Nickname wanted to know what "corker" meant and I gave him a rough translation

If I can't stand the heat, I will either:

# Open the door
# Open the window
# Or turn the bloomin' cooker off

There are ways of dealing with things y'know
