I'm always a bit sceptical about things like this. I, for one, have never heard a Pet Shop Boys record in a real club. The closest I have come to this was hearing the pickering and parks dub of getting away with it years ago on pirate radio.

PSB were hugely popular in dance clubs here in the US throughout the 90's (gay clubs anyway, i wouldnt know about others)
